Rosalynn's birthday tea party ♥

To celebrate dear Rosalynn's birthday, we met at Ladurée with Sandra, Marie, Tro-tro, Cheiko and Camélia (Mila and Aliénor were missing but they were in our hearts for sure ♥)

Instead of going to their Champ-Elysées tea room, we decided to go to the one in Saint-Germain-Des-Prés which was supposed to be less crowded but we still had to wait outside for a bit.

As soon as a table was available, we could finally get inside. In fact, their main salon was closed that day, that's probably why it was much more crowded than usual.
We didn't have much space for a while but we managed somehow, I guess?

Since all this was back in December (I knooow, it was something like 3 months ago), Ladurée had nice holidays special additions to their menu! I wanted to have a delicious Saint-Honoré rose framboise (like almost everytime I go there) but it wasn't on their menu anymore! I wasn't ready for that, instead I went for a Buchette Royale with was basically chocolate, on chocolate, 
with more chocolate and it was delicious ♥ Oh and I got a pot of hot chocolate, in case I was missing some!

I was so happy to see all those wonderful people for such a nice occasion!

Ah, I really miss this kind of small meetups but I almost have no time lately thanks to my studies...

Friends, delicious pastries, tea and chats about firefighters in harnesses (what?) made it a lovely afternoon ♥

Rosalynn and I decided to stop by the AP store to take a few pictures before getting back home.

They were preparing an in store event for the evening so it was already closed but we enjoyed the front so much it wasn't a problem. Best background to take outfit pictures when you're wearing almost head-to-toe AP is a pink AP store, of course ♥  Basically living the AP dream!

Rosalynn's birthday ♥

To celebrate her birthday, dear Rosalynn would spend her entire week-end in Paris and stay at my appartement, yaay ♥ She arrived to Paris on Friday evening and picking her at Bercy was quite an adventure cause it was hard to find each other! And believe me, it was not the only aventure of our week-end together! We found each other, came back to my place to drop Rosalynn's stuff and walked to a restaurant she likes to celebrate~

The next day was Rosalynn's actual birthday, we were supposed to leave my place around 11:00am so we woke-up, started the day by talking a lot and having breakfast. Soon, Boyfriend had to leave to go to work while Rosalynn and I were still talking in front of our breakfast... And I got a phone call. Just a few minutes after Boyfriend left the place, he called me. Oh, he might have forgot something?
Well, no. He sounded a bit worried and told me to go and check the 4th floor (right under our appartement, we live on the 5th) because there was some weird-maybe-something-is-burning smell.
(Get ready for a long story!)

Canceled Crybaby tour: What a week-end !

Ok, I'm super late, as usual...
So, back in November, I was really eager for the week-end because it was finally time for the long awaited comeback of Melanie Martinez's Crybaby Tour! On this occasion, cuties Giruparty, Beescuit and Blushpastel were coming to town ♥ Dear Cheiko would join us after the concert to a karaoke partyyy!

But you know, things didn't happen that way, no. Sadly, Melanie was sick and she had to cancel her Parisian show. We only knew about it a few hours before the show so we were a bit disappointed but hey, that's life. I felt so sad for my friends who traveled specially for her show.
Because of that, we had more time than expected to do some shopping. Of course, we started by Angelic Pretty ♥ We didn't got anything but we saw dear Mila! ♥ Then we stopped by Vivienne Westwood, Axes Femmes, Kilo Shop Kawaii, NYX and many more !
(But I just took some random pictures, great... )

Also, we initially planned to go to a karaoké after the show but with it being canceled,
we went shopping and decided to go to the karaoké earlier but... I wouldn't recommend the karaoké restaurant. I mean, we had fun time and pasta was quite good but also awfully-tasting mojitos, service wasn't the best and everything was more expensive than expected.

  

Long story short, on karaoké nights the first drink you order is 10€ even if it was ordered during happy hours when it's supposed to be 5€. This of course wasn't written on the menu (no one bothered to give us a menu so we had to take one from another table) and all this was written in small letters for ants on a small paper near the entrance of the karaoké. And like I said, mojitos were... not mojitos.
Wouldn't recommend 100% and they'll never see me again, sorry. Nice song catalogue though!(Roméo et Juliette and Tragédie for all the frenchies out there)

Due to big train problems, dear Cheiko couldn't make it to the karaoke but at least she avoided all of this, we did miss her though! ♥

But not for long because all of us would attend an Harajuku themed meet-up in Jardin du Luxembourg the following day. Ok, let's talk about the meeting then. In just one word: RAIN. Yup, it was rainy and windy. What a perfect day, right? What a shame, Jardin du Luxembourg is such a beautiful place but we couldn't enjoy it, I guess it ruined the organisation because we didn't do much but at least I was in good company ♥ If you want to take a look at lots of well dressed people, you can take a look at all the streetsnap Giru took !

Solenn had to leave early, I wish she stayed longer ♥

I  had plans other for the end of the afternoon and our Belgian friends had to leave to take the train back home so we said goodbye and left the meetup together. I would meet with my friend Cécile and go to a beautiful photography exhibit of Klavdij Sluban. Chieko had no plans but she had to wait for a friend who would come later in the evening so she came with us! The expo was so beautiful ♥

And since it was a cold day, after we decided to go to the nearest Starbucks to wait with her and have some delicious matcha latte together. To me, it felt a bit strange because I know Cécile from school and Chieko from the lolita community, I wouldn't have guessed they'd met one day but it made me quite happy ♥ Besides, Cécile knows already so much about lolita fashion, it's almost like she's one of us! We've been talking a while and soon Chieko's friend Bobby joined us.
It was so nice to meet him! Bobby is a photographer and it was really interesting to talk about his work.

Even if the weather wasn't at it's best and it was already dark outside, Bobby wanted to walk around to take some pictures and he invited Cécile and I to join them! We went to the Carrousel du Louvre to catch interesting lights. Sadly Cécile couldn't stay long because she had to leave and soon Bobby, Cheiko and I were wandering around the Louvre, chatting and taking pictures.

We ended-up at Angelina but the restaurant was about to close, we had to find another option.
After thinking a bit, we went to eat udon instead! I know... First startbucks and now udon, very french!

We also talked a lot while drinking our bubble teas, what a nice way to end this weekend full of failures! Once our bellies were full enough, it was already time to take the métro and go back home.

♥ Parisian afternoon with RinRin ! ♥

The day after Angelic Pretty's opening, I met with Marie, Mila, Roxane and her mom at Ladurée and we had a very special guest for the afternoon: RinRin!
She was in Paris for the grand opening tea party and wanted to spend some time around Paris.
I was beyond happy to be a part of it ♥

We started by a delicious afternoon tea at Ladurée. Iced teas and iced chocolates, delicious cakes, macarons and the most wonderful company!

After filling our stomachs with delicious treats, we took a souvenir picture in front of the fancy Ladurée window and headed to more adventures ! (More like Roxane's Mom took a hundred pictures for us because she's always so sweet, thank you again! ♥)

We took the subway and stopped at Saint-Paul, right in the heart of Le Marais.

Le Marais is a very fashionable area of Paris filled with thrift stores and small boutiques.

It has its own atmosphere and it's less crowded than rue de Rivoli or the Champs-Élysées!

We walked around and RinRin even found all the items she was looking for, yaaay! 

RinRin wanted to film our outfits so I grabbed my camera to take pictures of everybody

I don't know how long we stayed in that street but we stayed quite a while, yes.

The following pictures are from RinRin's twitter, I love this one so so much ♥ 

Sadly, Marie and Mila were both super tired because they had been working on NHK's booth at Japan Expo all morning long. RinRin asked us if we had plans for diner. Roxane, her mom and I had no real plans for the rest of the afternoon so we stayed with RinRin a while more ! 

We walked to Beaubourg and started looking for a nice place to have diner. While we were on our way, we stopped by a supérette RinRin was so amazed by all the packaging, it reminded me when I fist walked into a kombini back in Tokyo. Same reaction ! RinRin wanted to try typical French food so on her friend's advice and with Roxane's googling skills, we ended eating at a brasserie called Le Petit Marcel which reopened very the same day!

Their menu is filled with typical french cuisine, they also have one of my favorites which is canard confit and it was really good! I'm glad RinRin liked it because it comes from South West France and that's also from where I come from! Roxane and her Mom chose 

Another thing happened, we ordered some appetizers... RinRin wanted to try escargot, which are literally snails (cooked with butter and garlic, but still...) It's supposed to be a typical french dish très français oui oui  and it seems like I wasn't really good at being french because I never tried it before.

It was strange (really squishy) but it was also good and tasty ! And it was very fun to give it a try~

Now we are forever snail buddies, how classy !

The staff was really nice and we enjoyed our meal very much. Also, it seems like one for them knew about RinRin so, more fun ! She took so many pictures! Maybe you saw them on her snapchat or her twitter ? 

After we were done filling our stomachs (once again), RinRin took us to her hotel so we could work on some secret plans all together in the lobby...

After that, we said bye until tomorrow to RinRin because we'll see each other again during the Angelic Pretty tea party ♥ 

It was so nice to hang out with RinRin during her free time, she's such a sweet person!

I can't wait for her to come back ♥

♥ Visiting Sainte-Chapelle with Michiko ♥

Michiko came back to Paris in September and this time I was able to finally meet her ♥

I'm so glad because she really is such a sweetheart !

She wanted to go back to the Sainte-Chapelle which was a perfect idea for a lovely meet-up!

We waited for each other near the closest subway station and soon we started queuing.

As you may guess, Sainte-Chapelle waiting line has obviously no fast-pass so we had 

to wait for a while. We decided to have fun while waiting by taking some outfit pictures 

in front of the Palais de Justice gates.

Everyone was looking perfect ♥ (also, Michiko and Marie were perfectly matching those gates!)

I've been living in Paris for like a couple of years and I've never been there

but somehow this was the perfect occasion! I already knew how beautiful was this place but seeing all those pretty stained glasses with my own eyes was wonderful~ 

After seeing pretty things, it was time to go eat pretty things at Laudrée (yes yes, like the day before).

We walked from the Sainte-Chapelle to Laudrée because luckily it wasn't raining. We arrived to the salon de thé pretty exhausted because somehow the walk was longer than expected.

The staff recognized us from the day before, it was kind of funny~ 

(Also, the young lady who served us was very friendly and talkative! Thanks for helping us with the group pictures!) This time, we went upstairs to the Salon Bleu! We wanted to take some pictures in the room but right after we sat rejoicing on how alone we were, more customers came to the salon.

We happily (look at those happy faces ♥) said see you tomorrow to each other because a third meeting in only three days was planned for the day after ♥
